Do Not Disturb (DND) - Explained !

  1. General Definition:
    • A setting or mode that silences notifications, calls, or alerts to avoid interruptions.
  2. Common Uses:
    • Smartphones/Devices: Enabling DND mutes calls, messages, and app notifications.
      • Example: On an iPhone, swipe down Control Center and tap the 🌙 (Moon) icon.
    • Work/Meetings: Status indicators (e.g., Slack, Teams) show you’re unavailable.
    • Hotels: A physical DND sign on a door asks staff not to knock.
  3. Customization:
    • Schedule DND (e.g., overnight).
