Microsoft 365 Copilot Requirements

Licensing Prerequisites

Users must have a Microsoft 365 license assigned to them before they can access Microsoft 365 Copilot. Microsoft 365 Copilot is available as an add-on to Microsoft 365. A qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription is required to purchase Copilot.

Supported Microsoft 365 Applications

Hardware Requirements

Only Windows AI PCs with an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) capable of 40 TOPS (trillion operations per second) or higher are compatible with Copilot+.

These features will begin rolling out starting early 2025 for Snapdragon® X Series and starting mid 2025 for AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series and Intel® Core™ Ultra 200V Series.
